History

Breizon Ltd was founded by the Trahan Family in 1977. The company started by packing prawns in the home kitchen of Guenael Trahan, one of the owners. Over the years, the business has evolved and expanded, now specializing in the production and delivery of high-quality live, fresh, frozen, and cooked shellfish products. Based in Galway, Ireland, Breizon Ltd has been part of Mericq SAS since May 6, 2022, bringing together nearly 50 years of expertise and a continued commitment to quality.
